More about the four ferries

What's Up

In 2004 the ferry boats of Basel celebrated their 150th Anniversary, the first ferry boat of this kind having crossed the Rhine in 1854. See Our History for more information. The Ferry Association holds events and parties to support the ferry boats. As usual these were a big success in 2005. Why not come and join us in today?

Year Main Event

Every year we invite our members to the Year review event of the Ferry Association.

Tea Time Etiquette

The ferry boat challenges tea fans cause it's a difficult location and it moves deeply. So why not invite old friends to this funny event?

Do not forget to bring your favorite tea cup. Remember that tea is to be sipped, not slurped and not used to wash down large bites of food. Swallow your food before you sip your tea. You should always try a little of each course and while doing so avoid talking with your mouth full. That is why it is important to take dainty bites.

Please ask your Ferryman for further information.
